Palna

Palna- Surman Palna is a shelter home where the abandoned and destitute children are nurtured, and a firm foundation is provided for their happy and successful future. Children of all ages live in one house as a family. The abandoned children of infants to 6 years are considered in this project. We provided shelter to them, our founder- ‘Manan Chaturvedi’ became a mother to them and gave them the nurturing and love that they required at their precious and sensitive period of age. We were keen to know, who were leaving these small children at public roads, toilets, dustbins, and other random places. The different reasons for leaving the children were also taken into consideration to know the root reasons. The factors that came out were mainly poverty, girl child, unwanted child, a disabled child, and single mother. To support the single mother issue due to poverty was also raised by us in another project that is Koshish. The project ‘Palna’ by us was for giving another life, fruitful and life to the abandoned children, who are nowhere responsible in this cruel act of humanity and nature.
